Matthias Juergensen, Executive Director HR, founds State-of-the Art Trainee Program for Online Advertising and Affiliate Marketing
Berlin, 15th October 2008 – Recruitment process and enrollment has closed, following an overwhelming response rate of over 250 applicants. Today glispa welcomes four participants of the first class of ’glispa University’.
glispa trainees were selected following a rigorous screening process that prioritized superior language skills, academic acumen, integrity, as well as individuals committed to glispa’s service-oriented and collaborative culture. Accepted applicants join glispa’s growing team in Berlin with a very strong start to their online career.
The trainee program begins in the fourth quarter of 2008 and is being held at the company’s Berlin headquarters. The program kicked off with an intensive week-long introduction to the nuances of online and mobile marketing, specifically how glispa utilizes its international affiliate network to further client’s objectives. The Trainees will continue their educational process on an ongoing basis, with a series of internal workshops and review of case studies. glispa University courses are delivered by glispa’s international, senior management team and through alliances with online marketing industry experts and entrepreneurs.
As part of the program, each trainee has been assigned to a mentor to benefit from on-the-job learning. The trainee program offers new hires the opportunities to take part in an international exchange with the glispa’s New York and Sao Paulo offices.
Matthias Juergensen has 10 years of internet experience, including running his own web design company. In 1999 he was hired by an executive consultancy as a consultant. There he was in charge of developing and growing business opportunities with dax-30-companys (the 30 largest prime standard companies listed in the German primary stock index) like BMW group or Commerzbank AG. He was responsible for his own profit center and managed twenty employees. He then joined Deininger Unternehmensberatung GmbH, one of the 10 largest executive consultancies in Germany. He left the company in 2004 to work on his own HR consulting projects. He is the co-founder of AffiliatePerformance Germany.
Alongside he helped glispa in July 2008 founding a German entity. As Executive Director HR he is in charge of the worldwide HR strategy, the recruiting and the team building primarily for the new HQ of the glispa group based in Berlin.
